Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Navly is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to make sure our services are accessible.
We believe that everyone deserves access to the tools and information they need during a job transition, regardless of disability. Accessibility is not an afterthought — it is a core part of how we build our product.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. WCAG defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
Navly is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We are actively working to achieve full WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all pages and features.
What We've Done
We have taken the following steps to ensure accessibility on Navly:
- All text and background color combinations meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast requirements (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Semantic HTML landmarks are used throughout the site, including navigation, main content areas, and complementary regions.
- All interactive elements have visible focus indicators for keyboard users.
- Form inputs include accessible labels and error messages are announced to screen readers.
- Progress indicators include ARIA attributes for assistive technology.
- A skip-to-content link is available for keyboard users to bypass navigation.
- Animations are disabled for users who have set "reduce motion" in their operating system preferences.
- Decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers; meaningful icons include text alternatives.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some areas of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:
- The AI chat interface may not fully announce all dynamic content changes to screen readers. We are working on improving live region announcements.
- Some third-party resource links open external websites that may not meet accessibility standards.
- PDF documents uploaded by users are processed as-is and may not be accessible.
We are actively addressing these limitations and plan to resolve them in upcoming updates.

Technical Specifications
Navly relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browsers and assistive technologies available to our users: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WAI-ARIA. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Assessment Approach
Navly assessed the accessibility of this site through a combination of self-evaluation, automated testing tools, and manual keyboard and screen reader testing. We conduct accessibility reviews as part of our regular development process and aim to test all new features before release.
